Hi All! Having major dramas with the internet today as I try to get this finished I keep loosing connection. Hopefully it will all come together in the end.  Keep calm and make a card right?

If  you have joined me from Courtenay‘s blog welcome!  If you are starting here, enjoy following the blog hop all the way around as there are some incredible talented stampers out there!

Today I am showcasing the new Climbing Orchid Bundle stamps and framelits from the 2017/18 Annual Catalogue.  These two items when teamed together make it so easy to whip up a beautiful card!  Here I have made two, one which is just the stamped orchid image and the second card using the “building” components so you can see just how easy it is to step it up a notch, add more colour, and add some more dimension to your project. I used my bone folder to curl the petals and leaves for even more dimension.

I have also used as highlights on the card the gorgeous sparkly new embellishments Glitter Enamel Dots.  The papers are the new Color Theory DSP Stack, I focused on the new In-Color Berry Burst which is fast becoming my new favourite pink!

What is your new favourite item?  Let me know!

Now off to the lovely talent Barbara Williams!

Hamburger Box Die! When I first laid eyes on it, I just did not understand the fascination, but it makes for some of the easiest and cutest packaging out there and pairs beautifully with the Fry Box Die.  As I’m preparing for my son’s birthday in a couple of weeks, this is one of the items I’m planning on using for take homes!  Keep your eyes open to see what I create.

Well, I’m finally back from holidays and back to blogging.  How were the hols?  They were fabulous!  London, Cardiff, Hadrian’s Wall, Tulloch Castle and then Mintlaw. Had a great catch-up with a friend from Canberra who had very recently moved to London, and stayed with an old friend I hadn’t seen in nearly 6 years to round out our trip in Scotland.  We survived Storm Frank, Christmas-ed in a Scottish castle, and thrived while feeding our inner nerd (thank you Doctor Who Experience!)  Now that my boy is back at school (yay! Do they ever pay teachers enough?) I have time to finish off my Hello December/December Daily album.  The first challenge will be choosing pictures, as I took what seems like a gazillion.  So who will keep me on task?  Looking at you folks!

On to this weeks offerings!  Love the mini pegs. Although a pain to post, they look just fabulous on the finished product, AND add an amazing touch to bags and tags. (Did you see my OnStage swaps?)  Will be ordering more for myself as I used them all for OnStage.

So what have you created today?

A few beauts in the weekly deals this week! I just got the paper stack while in Brussels a couple of weeks ago and love it, very versatile and fun patterns. The snowflake punch is pretty, combine it with the matching stamp set, or just punch a few snow flakes from glimmer paper for fun sparkle on any project!
Started working on my Hello December 2015 yesterday, will finish that later today and post so you can see what I’m up to!

Hi all!  Well it’s been wet here in Saudi, and that has meant that schools have been closed and traffic has been chaos, but as the whole family has been home sick for 2 days we really haven’t noticed. (Except for the rain bit, as rain is rather uncommon).  There is no stormwater drainage over most of the city, which leads to roads flooding, and with all the traffic chaos already in play, it makes things so much worse!

Anyhow…some fun things in the weekly deals!  Markers, a good alternative to ink pads if you are on a tight budget. And some excellent Christmas stamps too.  Enjoy this weeks offerings, time for me to go off and have another cold and flu tablet before I cough up a lung. Love my family, so sharing! (Sarcasm!!)

Getting ready for On Stage Live in Brussels

Standard

Hi all! I know I’ve been quiet of late, my apologies for not sharing any projects of late.

I’m currently in Brussels getting excited about attending Stampin’ Up’s first ever On Stage Live event with other Demonstrators from across the globe. In preparation for this I’ve made some swaps to share. So here they are quickly (will post details later), so you can see what I’ve been up to!

Hi all, been a few days since my last post, we are having Eid holidays currently, so we are out most days (as hubby is off work and we can get around as I am not allowed to drive in this country). However the Weekly Deals tick over today, and I know everyone loves a bargain!

Quick Thanks Gift using the Fry Box Die

Quick Thanks Gift using the Fry Box Die

Upon my return home from Australia I had a little party to attend farewelling a friend. I whipped up this little thanks gift for the hostess in about 15min. The longest part of the whole process was choosing the colours! (Sometimes too much choice is a bad thing.)

I managed to stuff 5 chocolates into the package, so it’s surprisingly roomy.

The stamp was “stamped off”. And the thin gold thread made it very easy to tie off the bag and attach the tag to the ribbon. Apologies for the quality of the picture, as we actually purchased the chocolates on the way to the party so I actually assembled the bag and tied the ribbons in the car! Not bad if I do say so myself.

Have fun creating!
