Last year I “had a go” and failed badly at this aspect of Project Life record keeping. Probably as life was extremely chaotic in our preparation to move here, trips to Perth and Queensland, not to mention the end of school year and a miryiad of farewells!
This year however someone pointed me in the right direction and said the simple words “Start Early!”
Go on, laugh! I know you want to!
This time of the year gets so busy with parties (lots of farewell parties) and preparing for Christmas and in our case a holiday to the UK (majorly excited to be going back there again!) that we tend to find ourselves at the end of the day collapsing with good intentions gone out the window the moment our head hits the pillow.
I’ve worked out my title page, and, put all my numbers on their cards and shoved them all in their pages.
Are you doing a December Daily? And how are you going?
Hi all! Well it’s been wet here in Saudi, and that has meant that schools have been closed and traffic has been chaos, but as the whole family has been home sick for 2 days we really haven’t noticed. (Except for the rain bit, as rain is rather uncommon). There is no stormwater drainage over most of the city, which leads to roads flooding, and with all the traffic chaos already in play, it makes things so much worse!
Anyhow…some fun things in the weekly deals! Markers, a good alternative to ink pads if you are on a tight budget. And some excellent Christmas stamps too. Enjoy this weeks offerings, time for me to go off and have another cold and flu tablet before I cough up a lung. Love my family, so sharing! (Sarcasm!!)
How exciting! I know quite a few people were disappointed that the US market had that fabulous stamp sale, and now us Aussies are having one too! Take advantage of it to get a few well know and well loved stamp sets.
As for me, now that I’m back from Brussels and OnStage Live, I’ve got some brand new product to play with, so will give you a sneak peak of some of the upcoming awesomeness that is coming from the Occasions Catalogue. In the meantime, I need to get cracking on my Christmas cards so I can get them in the Dip Bag so they can get delivered on time back home.
What have you been making lately?
Hi all! I know I’ve been quiet of late, my apologies for not sharing any projects of late.
I’m currently in Brussels getting excited about attending Stampin’ Up’s first ever On Stage Live event with other Demonstrators from across the globe. In preparation for this I’ve made some swaps to share. So here they are quickly (will post details later), so you can see what I’ve been up to!
